Nah I'm not ashame of my name really lol. Infact, it's my real first name, and I've been using it ingame, forum etc. It's nice not having to come up with a made up name.

Lol there's two versions of how it came to be, 1 is real, 1 is fake both versions were told to me by my folks. lol

I'll tell you the version that I always tell other people first. Etta mean "first" in Swedish. My old man used to live in Sweden back in the late '70, no he's not a porn star. When he came back to the west coast and marry my ma, and since I'm the first born he named me Etta.

and those are just the ones off the top of my head....I have seen people in rl with my rl name who are male....its very strange, but it happens.

so I think every (sure why not make it a broad sweeping generalization?) language has names that could be either.
